The weather is heating up and I've been thinking about the ocean for weeks now. “Calme blanc” by Gilles Bensimon for Vogue Paris May 2013 is everything I'd rather be doing instead of being cooped inside studying. Edita Vilkeviciute's natural, yet sultry nautical look is one I'm looking forward to accomplishing come June.

Let's Talk Updos
It's officially Spring and I've been looking for different updos to wear that don't look like they require a million and one scrunchies. I've spent the last two months emptying my wallet at Forever 21 and every small boutique from here to 5th Ave, trying to find hair accessories that I will actually wear. I've got some clips, a couple of pins, a bunch of headbands but now what? Well that's what the internet is for.

Twelve Thirty One Twenty Thirteen
Just about two months too late, but since the site wasn't up in the beginning of January...
Scenes from my New Year's Eve with tons of food and cheap champagne everywhere. Confetti was in my bed three days after this night and I must have eaten about 10 of the cupcakes we made. Hope your 2014 has been treating you right so far.

Very Berry Smoothie

- 1 cup of non-fat vanilla greek yogurt
- 1/3 cup of water
- A handful of frozen berries (Raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries) - Sometimes I add a few extra for richer flavor, depends on the day.
- Coconut flakes (Optional)
- Ice cubes (For extra thickness)
Layer each ingredient in the blender (aside from the Coconut flakes) and blend on Blend setting. Keep blending until you reach the smoothie thickness you want. Pour in a mason jar (or cup) and sprinkle coconut flakes on top. Then enjoy!
Tip: In the summer I add ice and blend back and forth on Ice Crush and Blend for frozen yogurt.
